Photoshop excursions #1 - My first attempt at really trying multipe photo layering and adjustments with photoshop. I adjusted colors in the strips to brighten the contrast, and the moon was added in from another of my shots. I took this the other night. What do you think? Any recommendations? I want to master or at least understand!!! PHOTOSHOP the great mess of buttons and layers!

Feel free to give me advice. I had trouble feathering the moon for some reason, so I think it looks a little cut and pasted. How would you do it differently?

I think this shot is excellent; I really love the colours as well as the actual composition of the photo. The feathering on the moon looks very smooth. It's looks very well blended.

@Duncan Galbraith: thanks ;-) keep up your good work and thanks for your time in visiting my work. blessing on you
hey here's my take on the photo... I feel that the lamppost is too overwhelming... it's like diverting my attention away from the moon... on the other hand, the moon is really stunning. on some occasions, such cut and paste would look fake but I think this blends in really well.. keep up the good work. and continue to explore the infinite possibilities photoshop will bring to your photos. :]
